arrow While some areas in the field of scientific technology are currently reaching maturation, other already advanced areas are developing at an unprecedented rate in terms of both dimension and speed, making it difficult to predict their course. Likewise, in the field of civil engineering, not only are construction and design technologies for structures changing but new findings are also being made on a daily basis in such areas as urban and environmental planning, and urban systems, promoting striking progress in both software and hardware technologies.
spacer The educational objective of the Civil Engineering Course is to groom highly motivated individuals who can confront these advances with fundamental specialized knowledge and skills, as well as flexibility in dealing with issues and the ability to take action; also of importance is people who have a rich sense of humanity and an international viewpoint, so as to be trusted by people. To this end, the prescribed learning targets and educational objectives of this course are as follows:
